Donna Jean Taylor
October 11, 1954 — February 28, 2016
Donna Jean Taylor, 61, of Topeka earned her angel wings February 28, 2016. She fought hard and won her battle against cancer and is dancing in Heaven.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Taylor, her mother Verna Deem, her aunt Joanie, several uncles, and a niece and nephew.
She is survived by her father Charles Mathews; sons: Edward Jordan Jr., of Leavenworth, KS, David Allen Bowen, Jr. (Hope) of Wilson, NC; her daughters: Darla Bowen Blackwell (Reggie) and Desirae Taylor Williams (Steve) both of Topeka; grandchildren: Paisley Blackwell, Devin Blackwell, Tripp Bowen and Brianna Bowen; sisters: Patty Schmidt, Cindy Flores, Cathy Hernandez, Vickie Jehl, Susan Deem; and aunts: Joyce Corber, Grace Dickerson and Linda Ames.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to her grandchildren's college fund.
