Doris Dahlstrom

Doris E. Dahlstrom died June 27, 2009 at Stormont Vail Hospital. She was born to Charles "Reece" and Audrey Ammon Gunselman on December 3, 1930 in Harold, South Dakota. She was employed by Prudential Insurance and Finney & Turnipseed early in her working career. She founded "Knit With Doris" and ran this successful business for 30 years. She married Floyd Dahlstrom in 1952. They enjoyed a long life together until his death in 2000. Doris was a member of the Delta Theta Chi sorority. Visitation is set for Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel at 29th and Minnesota, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the Highland Park United Methodist Church, 29th and Michigan at 10:30am, Wednesday, July 1st. Interment will be in the Netawaka cemetery at 1:30pm.
