Doris Evelyn Mills

Doris Evelyn Mills, 88, of Topeka, Kansas passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was born April 24, 1936, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Marshall E. Littlefield and Doris E. Guy. 

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Jack D. Mills of West Byfleet, Surrey, England. Jack died on September 7, 2021 in Cranleigh, Surrey, England. Following his death, she returned to Topeka, Kansas and enjoyed the next 2 ½ years with her four daughters and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters Karen (Peter) Moritz, Cynthia (Dean) Fry, Gina Price, Julie (Kerry) Kitchener; her grandchildren Heather Moritz, Ryan (Jo Malbert Narvaez) Moritz, Jordan (Sarah) Pfannenstiel, Jessalyn Pfannenstiel and Joelle Pfannenstiel and her great-granddaughter Evelyn Pfannenstiel. 

Doris enjoyed painting, paper crafting, poetry writing, bird watching and being with her family.

The funeral will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, 4700 SW 17TH St, Topeka, Kansas. Interment will follow.
