Dorothy A. Staehli, 87, Topeka, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 at Plaza West Regional Health Center.
She was born March 12, 1917 in Clay City, IL, the daughter of William A. and Edith I. Steward Phillips.
She married Arnold Staehli on Jan. 16, 1981. He died March 3, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a son, James L. McClain.
Survivors include her son, Ronald M. McClain, Tecumseh, her daughter, Waunita J. Koehn, Topeka, her sister, Jane Robinson, Cape Girardeau, MO, and several grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. No public memorial service will be held. Private inurnment will be in Soldier Cemetery, Soldier, KS.
