By the early to mid 80's Dr. Jacob Thomas had built a Ani-Med Pet Clinic, taking care of countless family pets. Many of his fellow colleagues often called Dr. Thomas for advice on their own patients, he was always quick to lend his knowledge. His sons worked in the clinic growing up, assisting him with exams and clinic paperwork. Jacob encouraged all his children to be diligent in school and wanted them to excel past his accomplishments. His decision to move his family to the US ultimately gave them all a better opportunity at achieving their goals.

Jacob enjoyed good food, golf, and was a masterful story teller. In later years Jacob also loved spending time with his 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
