Duane G. Rowe, 70, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. He was born August 18, 1944 in Osage Co., KS, the son of George Earl and Gracie McPhail Rowe.
Duane graduated from Scranton High School and obtained a BS degree from Baker University in 1966. He was employed as a Systems Analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 30 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Christian Lord Ministries.
Duane married Kay L. Lanter on August 5, 1966 in Everest, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his older brother, Earl E. Rowe of Topeka and his twin brother Edwin Dale Rowe of Osage Co., KS., six nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Graveside inurnment services will follow in Scranton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Christian Lord Ministries, 2421 SE California Ave., Topeka, KS 66605.
