Duane H. McCord, 67, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at a local care center.
Duane was born December 6, 1950 in Topeka, the son of Homer J. and Naudine McCord.
He graduated from Highland Park High School. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and a Master's degree from Emporia State University.
He was a librarian with the State of Kansas for many years before retiring due to illness.
Cremation has taken place and services are pending. Dove Southeast Chapel is
assisting with arrangements.
