Duane A. Miller of Topeka passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was born February 23, 1965 in Topeka the son of Donald and Velma Miller.

Duane attended KSVH High School in Kansas City, Kansas. He wrestled while attending high school. He enjoyed cooking and took several cooking classes in school. He graduated in 1983. He loved music and was a good singer himself. Duane worked at Olive Garden for over 10 years. He was an avid sports fan. He followed the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and KU Jayhawks.

Duane is survived by his mother, Velma Miller of Topeka; his siblings, Esther M. Carter and David W. Miller; his step-mother, Maggie Miller of Topeka; half brother, William Miller and his wife, Heather; nieces and nephews, Velisha Carter, Tava Miller and Dane Miller; his aunt Joan King of Topeka; and his uncle, Jerry Lee of Topeka.

Duane will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery.
