Duwayne Zirkle

DuWayne Zirkle, 87, of Mesa, Arizona formerly of Topeka, died Friday, September 3, 2004 at a Mesa, Arizona care facility. He was born on March 19, 1917 in Delia, Ks., the son Emery and Cora Largent Zirkle. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. Survivors include his sister, Lorrwayne Graf of Houston, TX., two nieces, Carol and Linda, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Zirkle and Jason Zirkle and his sister, Iona Young. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow. Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army, 1320 S.E. 6th Ave., Topeka, Ks. 66607 or the organization of the donor's choice. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
