Dylan Joseph Holley (28) loved and felt every emotion deeply. He died unexpectedly on September 17, 2023 in his hometown of Topeka, Kansas. Born December 23, 1994, Dylan always shined a little brighter than most. He dedicated his life to serving others before himself. A doting girl dad to Catalina and Xochitl and a soulmate to his wife, Hollie. Dylan was known for his goofy sense of humor, infectious smile and his fondness of nature. After graduating from Topeka High in 2013, Dylan pursued his dream of joining the United States Marine Corps where he served as a 1371 Combat Engineer. Following the Marines, Dylan was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. He served his country with pride, giving of himself as he did throughout his entire life. A warrior soul whose presence was felt by all who knew him.
Dylan continues to be loved by his wife and best friend, Hollie, and daughters Catalina & Xochitl. His loving parents Jacob & Crystal Holley and Michele Holley & Chuck Ratterree. Siblings Bryanna, Tate, Ryan and Wyatt. Grandparents Joe & Rhonda Holley, David & Sharon Shivers and Great-Grandparents Carole Christopher, Mary Lou Holley and Charlie Ross. As well as a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and brothers in arms.
