Earl Eugene Comstock

Earl Eugene Comstock, 84, of Waverly, Kansas passed away December 27, 2012. He was born to Alonson B. and Garnet E. (Farris) Comstock on Sept. 24, 1928 at Buffalo, Kansas. He spent most of his life hauling hay and as a logger, cutting and hauling logs to be sold to the mills for processing into lumber. He was a self taught mechanic and always maintained his own vehicles. He married Lois June Hayworth in 1951. She preceded him in death. He then married Shirley Ann Sharp who also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Lonnie (Sylvia) Comstock, Garnet, KS, Gene (Carol) Comstock, Arkansas City, KS, Charlene (Dorsey) Bell, Ripley, MS, Donna (Bob) Glover, Gas City, KS, Roy (Kendra) Comstock, Holton, KS, Dean (Jan) Comstock, Scott, LA, Gerie (Doug) Disterheft, Eau Claire, MI, Larry (Linda) Dain, Topeka, KS, Bill (Jolene) Dain, Overbrook, KS, Carol (John) Rendal, Overbrook, KS, Connie Deil, Indpendence, KS, Cecil (Janet) Dain, Osage City, KS; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many, many friends.

Following cremation, inurnment will be at Rock Creek Township Cemetery in Waverly, KS at a later date.
