Ed Swovelan, 76, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. He was born November 22, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Robert and Juanita (Booth) Swovelan.
Ed graduated from the University of Colorado in Denver where he earned a Master's Degree. He was employed by the Kansas State Historical Society.
Ed married Margot Reinhart. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother and one brother, Robert Swovelan of Kansas City, Missouri.
Cremation has taken place and as per Ed's wishes, no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
