Edna J. Anderson, 60, of Overbrook, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at a Topeka hospital. She was born April 11, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of Eugene E. and Donna I. (Humphrey) Hoffman.
Edna was employed by the Kansas Foundation for Medical Care.
Survivors include her children, LeRoy R. (Jodi) Anderson of Overbrook, Richard J. (Jennifer) Anderson of Carbondale, five grandchildren, Bailey, Colton, Mekayla, Triston and Archer, and her siblings, Edward Hoffman of Salina, Kitty Boydston of Overbrook and Doug Sumner of Osage City.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Eugene Leroy Hoffman, Tony Sorrels and Linny Sorrels.
Edna will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Friday, September 23, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at Noon Friday, September 23, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka.
