Edna O. Ross

Edna O. Ross, 78, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010.
Edna was born September 2, 1931 in Paris, TX, to Palm Conway and Annie Mae (Fannin) Wilkins. She moved to Topeka in 1936 and attended Topeka schools.
She was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, New Beginnings Baptist Church and later became a member of Capitol City Community Church of God, where she was a member of their bible study group and faithfully attended each week. She had retired from Government Postal Services.
Survivors include brother, Donald Wilkins, Sr., Lee's Summit, MO; nephew, Donald (Kathy) Wilkins, Jr., Hutchinson; niece, Annette Edwards, Topeka; 1 great niece and 4 great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Winford Wilkins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Capitol City Community Church of God. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Dove Cremation and Funeral service is in charge of arrangements.
