Edward N. Larson

August 15, 1925 — March 8, 2016

Edward Nathaniel Larson, 90, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He was born August 15, 1925, in Chariton, Iowa, the son of Edwin and Edith (Sandahl) Larson. Ed attended Naval Flight School, yet served aboard a submarine in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Ed was employed by SCM and Logan Business Machines in Topeka.

Ed married Audrey Lee Skinner on March 15, 1946 in Chariton, Iowa. She preceded him in death in August, 1999. Survivors include his children, Stan Larson (Mary), Brent Larson, Debra Winrick, Dale Larson (Jana) and Dean Larson (Gara); 13 grandchildren and14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Audrey and sister, Trudy.

Ed enjoyed fishing, going on rides and most of all, spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 6th & Gage in Topeka. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 14th at Mount Hope Cemetery.
