Edward R. Temmel
Edward R. Temmel, 70, of Topeka passed away on July 29, 2004.
Mr. Temmel served 2 ½ years in the Air Force before he retired in 1973 at the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was assigned to Forbes Air Force Base on and off for 12 years and made Topeka his home in October of 1957. He worked at Schendel Pest Control for twenty five years, retiring in 1999.
He was born April 27, 1934 in St Louis, MO; the son of Roland and Mary L. Temmel. He married Sandy Roller. They were later divorced.
Other survivors include two sons: Edward R. Temmel II, Norton, KS. John A. Temmel, Topeka. Six Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Newcomer Family Funeral Home on Monday, August 2, 2004 at 12:00, Noon. Visitation will be held from 9-12:00, Monday. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
