Edward Lee Ross, 84, of Topeka, went Home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born December 25, 1933 in Topeka, the son of Robert and Louise (Bolton) Ross.
Edward was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War. He was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include children, Bernetta Wilson, Denise Ross-Coleman, Ethera Fisher, Shawn Fisher, ShaQuan Fisher, Angelica Fisher, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nephew Frank Habeebullah, and a host of friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Louise Ross, siblings, Ethera Ross, Naoma Staten and Frank Ross, Sr.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
