Eileen Sifferman, 96, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at a Topeka care facility. She was born November 15, 1924 in Barberton, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer T. and Ruth Ann (Lambert) McQuaide.
Eileen graduated from high school in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was employed as a waitress at Waid's Restaurant and Aunt Martha's Restaurant, a switchboard operator for the State of Missouri and as a Bus Driver at the KCI Airport in Kansas City, Missouri before retiring.
Eileen married Milford Wayne Sifferman on December 18, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter Gail Beale of Topeka, four grandchildren, Brett (Luke) Bauer, Kaytee (Jeff) Beaver, Matthew Beale and Nellie Beale and four great-grandchildren, Miles Bauer, Pera Bauer, Addison Beaver and Aiden Beaver.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Elmer Thomas McQuaide, Jr., Ruth Ann Sparks and Betty Baldwin.
A Celebration of Eileen's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Rock Prairie Cemetery in Hall Town, Missouri at a later date.
