Elaine R. Halenkamp

Elaine Rosanne (Lund) Halenkamp, 64, passed away January 13, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. She was born on December 11, 1946 in Independence, MO, the daughter of Harold and Frances Lund. They preceded her in death.
She was raised and educated in Topeka. She is survived by three children, son, Joseph Halenkamp (Aurora); two daughters, Shannon King (Brad) and Tammy McCoy (Jeff), all of Ft. Mitchell, KY; brother Ed Lund, Wichita KS; three sisters:, Evelyn Haungs, Nashville TN, Elizabeth Corber, Topeka, Esther Stramler, Austin TX; seven grandchildren, Andrea M. Halenkamp, Deanna N. Halenkamp, Parker D. Falvey, Payden E. Falvey, Thomas J. McCoy, Elizabeth G. McCoy and Kennedy L. King.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, 8th and Jackson, in Topeka, on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Topeka Cemetery.
