Elana M. Bigenwalt

Elana M. Bigenwalt, 65, of Topeka, passed away May 16, 2014. She was born at Atchison, Kansas on June 29, 1948 to Junior Vincent and Dottie Doreen (Hatchell) Bigenwalt. Elana was raised in Topeka, attended public schools and graduated from Highland Park High School. She worked as a property manager for a Topeka apartment complex and loved shopping, painting, embroidery and crafts in general.

Elana is survived by her significant other, Dave Epling; daughter, Vonda Bartley and her son, Donnie Bartley (Tamara) both of Topeka; a sister , Mary M. Gassen-Owens (Randall Owens) of Topeka; her brother, Joseph V. Bigenwalt (Linda) of Texas; 6 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Danny Lee Bigenwalt.

A memorial service will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service on May 31, 2014 at 10:30AM. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. The inurnment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
