Elizabeth L. Linser
Elizabeth Louise "Betty" Linser, 59, Topeka,, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Betty was born July 14, 1949 in Fresno,CA, the daughter of Rupert and Mary (LaColla) Linser. She graduated from Fresno High School in 1967 and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from Fresno City College.
Betty had been an Administrative Assistant with Maximus, retiring in 2007.
She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and a member of the Red Hat's Society.
Betty married Michael Edwards on December 21, 1968 in Fresno, CA. They later divorced. Survivors include son, Kevin Edwards and wife Amy, Wichita; daughter, Bethany Edwards, Topeka; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cat Association of Topeka, 1719 SW Gage, Topeka, Kansas 66604 or the Topeka Chapter of the American Red Cross, 1221 SW 17th, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
