Elizabeth Faye Cowen Rouviere, 78, of Topeka, passed away July 6, 2016. She was born May 17, 1938 in Topeka the daughter of Amos and Arzella Cowen. She had three brothers Ralph, Ronald and Gerald Cowen.
She was married to Edward H. Rouviere on May 17, 1954. They parented four children James, Valerie, Kevin and Susan. They were divorced.
Elizabeth attended Washburn University from 1982 to 1985. She was a freelance writer and had been regularly published from 1978-1983 in pictorial newspapers, the Topeka Magazine and Topeka Weekly Review. She enjoyed a regular column in the Topeka Weekly Review entitled "Life with Liz" from 1981-1983.
There will be no service at her request. Private interment will be at Penwell Gabel Cemetery.
