Elizabeth C. Zimmerman, 55, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Midland Hospice House. She was born June 12, 1956, the daughter of William and Beverly Zimmerman. She had resided at KNI in Topeka for several years and in 1999, took residency in the Topeka community through the ISS program.
Survivors include her guardian, Roxie Watts, her very close friend, Seressa Opoku and other caring staff, Nicholas, Sandra, Beverly, Knesha, LaKiesha, Felicia, Charilyca and Dorothy at ISS.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Individual Support Systems, 3500 S.W. 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604.
