Ellana J. Mahoney, 65, Emporia, passed away Thurs., January 27, 2022, at an El Dorado, Kansas care facility.
She was born October 31, 1956, the daughter of Edward and Loretta Crampton Fry. She attended school in Osage City, graduating with the Class of 1974. She graduated from Emporia State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Ellana worked many years at Dolly Madison in Emporia and for the Flint Hills Community Health Center. She most recently worked for RCIL, retiring two years ago.
She was married to Clarence "Sonny" Mahoney Jr. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include several cousins.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, south of Emporia at a later date.
