Eloise L. Foga

Eloise L. Foga, 94, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was born June 11, 1930 in Eskridge, Kansas, the daughter of Ralph W. and Mima M. (Buck) Christian.

Eloise graduated from Seaman High School in 1948 and attended Washburn University. She was employed as a paraprofessional for USD 501 for 20 years before retiring. She was also employed by Hall Brothers for 5 years and the American Yearbook Company. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church for 50 years.

Eloise married John Foga on April 23, 1949 in Topeka. They later divorced but remained good friends.

Survivors include children, Kent (Kim) Foga, Jana Gore, Dennis (Judy) Foga, Nancy Lynne Foga and Kevin Foga, all of Topeka, 11 grandchildren, Shawn, Jacey, Brendan, Tracey, Ashley, Todd, Timothy, Scott, Adam, Willie, and Steven, and several great-grandchildren.

Eloise was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Figgs, Genevieve Tebben, Wendell Christian, and her daughter-in-law, Stacey Foga.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
