Emil R. Baer, 63, of Topeka, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born October 4, 1953 at Peoria, Illinois to Emil and Kathleen (Eller) Baer. He married Victoria Estrada June 16, 2004. Emil worked in the trucking industry for Knight Transportation. He enjoyed cruise nights, classic cars, movie night, oriental food and spending time with his grandchildren in Tennessee. Emil especially enjoyed eating at Red Robin with his good friends Joe and Cathy Mack.
Emil is survived by his wife, Victoria; his daughter Tyann Turner (David) of Stillwater, OK; three sons: Micheal (Autumn) of Murfreesboro, TN, Joseph of Lebanon, TN, Daniel (Amanda) of Watertown, TN; two step-sons: Rudy Estrada (Sheri) of Overland Park, KS, Frankie Estrada of Shawnee Mission, KS ; two sisters: Bonita Goodger (Willis) of Topeka, Jeannine Baer also of Topeka; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his "fur children" Baby Doll and Ginger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister Jorita Quick and his half-brother Harry Lee Lavendosky.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
