Enid F. Schmall

Enid F. Schmall, 94, of Topeka, passed away May 15, 2014 at Plaza West. She was born a twin on Feb. 17, 1920 at Oskaloosa, Kansas to Harry and Edith Piper. Her twin, Marguerite, passed away at age 7 days. She was raised by her foster parents, Oscar and Sadie Tosh after her parents' deaths. She married Jacob (Jack) Schmall in Lincoln, NE. where she resided for 32 years. He preceded her in death in 1982. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Glenn, Ralph, Mabel, Fern, Ruth, and Freda.

She managed a pub in Lincoln and loved her work. Enid played cards every Friday evening with friends and enjoyed going to the casino.

Enid is survived by her daughters Judith A. Brown and Brenda M. Gleason, both of Topeka; granddaughter Ravan M. Gleason Fisher (Austin) of Denver, CO; great-grandson Maddox W. Fisher; several nieces and nephews; and cousin, Jean Wagner of Portland, OR.
