Eran Earl Beck, 86, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023.
He was born September 11, 1937, in Melvern, Kansas, the son of Alfred Earl and Helen Florence (Patterson) Beck. He graduated from Melvern High School in 1955.
Eran was employed by Westar as a power plant technician for 29 years, retiring in 1995.
Eran married Deloris Brown on June 21, 1958 in Melvern, Kansas. She survives, along with his children Michelle Hadden (Shannon) and Lori Whalen (Todd), both of Topeka; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Eran enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and archery.
Per his wishes, Eran chose to be cremated. A family gathering will be held at a future date. Interment will be at Melvern Cemetery at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
