Eric Gonzalez, 18, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born May 18, 2004 in Topeka, the son of Tereso Gonzalez and Olga Del Real.
Eric graduated from Highland Park High School. He would accompany his mother to the Colly Creek Jehovah's Witness Congregation.
Survivors include his parents, his siblings; Avel Gonzalez of Topeka, Yesenia (Francisco) Nunez of Topeka and Jesus Gonzalez of Topeka, his nephew, Logan Nunez-Gonzalez and his niece, Aishwarya Nunez-Gonzalez.
Eric will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. with a special message being delivered at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
