Erma Hope Duree, 85, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
She was born August 16, 1936, in Perry, Kansas, the daughter of Jerry and Clara Duree. She was a graduate of Topeka High School.
Erma was employed by Hallmark Cards in Topeka. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist church in Burlington, VT.
Survivors include her daughter, Natalie Haller of Orlando, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Virginia, Gerald, Edna and Ruth.
Erma enjoyed playing the piano, sewing and sculpture.
The family is grateful to the many thoughtful care-givers at Plaza West Assisted Living, Prairie Winds Hospice and David Aadalen.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. No services are scheduled. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
