Erma E. Jedkins, 75, of Topeka, formerly of Fort Scott, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2003 at a local Hospice house.
She was born on February 14, 1928 in Mapleton, KS, the daughter of Ora and Malinda Wallace Vann.
She grew up and attended schools in Fort Scott. She was married to Edward Salsbury, he preceded her in death. She then married George Glessner Jedkins on June 3, 1965, and he also preceded her in death. She worked as a housekeeper in Fort Scott for most of her life. She attended the Holiness Church in Fort Scott.
She is survived by: 2 Brothers: Walter Ellsworth of Topeka, KS and Ronald Miller of Topeka, KS; 2 Sisters: Marcella Harris of Dallas, TX., and Dorthella Brown of Topeka, KS; Host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Andy Vann and Leonard Ellsworth; and 2 Sisters, Ada King, and Minnie Bruce.
