Ernst Baier, 86, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was born August 15, 1934 in Alt Elft, Bessarabia, the son of Friedrich and Olga Baier.
Ernst was employed by the Xerox Corporation.
Ernst married Inge E. Vessperman. She survives. Other survivors include children, Friedrich (Rebecca) Baier of Topeka, Barbara (David) Klimek of Rochester, New York, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his sister, Lotte Pulfermacher of Dorum, Germany and his brother, Hugo Baier of Hamberg, Germany.
Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Rochester, New York.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
