Ethel Mae Ives

Ethel Mae Ives, 77, of Tecumseh, KS, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born January 26, 1938 in Topeka, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy Gatchell Ludwig.
Ethel graduated from Highland Park High School in 1956. She was a homemaker and was employed by U.S.D. 450 as a School Bus Driver for 33 years.
Ethel married Robert M. Ives on February 1, 1958 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include their children, Terry Ives, Scott Ives, Eric Ives and Becky Shamburg, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her siblings, Wilma Ludwig and Frank Ludwig.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Lynn Creek Cemetery located just west of SE Berryton Rd. on SE 61st St. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the KATVA (an off road riding club) 19781 S. Urish Rd., Burlingame, KS 66413 or Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
