Eugene Aspegren

Eugene F. Aspegren, 73, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Midland Hospice Care.
Gene was born April 3, 1932 in Downs, Kansas the son of Floyd R. and Opal J. Good Aspegren. He grew up in Topeka.
Gene served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a machinist- for Santa Fe Railroad for 28 years, retiring in 1983.
He married Virginia Espinosa on July 27, 1972. She survives. Other survivors include sons: Louis E. Charay, Overland Park, David Aspegren and Duane Aspegren both of Topeka, and a brother, Leonard Aspegren, Missouri.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Mr. Aspegren will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
