Eugene William Wren, 78, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
He was born March 23, 1946, in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Glen Alvin and Velda Ardale (Keller) Wren. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and received a bachelor's degree in music from Washburn University and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Kansas.
Eugene was employed by the State of Kansas as an accountant for the Department of Motor Vehicles. He also worked for Holiday Inn as a night auditor.
Eugene was a practitioner of the Christian Science Church.
Survivors include his sister Kathy Lam (Dale) of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Eugene enjoyed playing organ and piano for various churches.
Eugene was cremated. Interment will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Topeka.
