Eunice Pauline Peck, 93, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, formerly of Carbondale, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at a care facility in Lee's Summit. She was born January 21, 1928 in La Cygne, Kansas, the daughter of William Martin and Clarice Fanchon (Palmer) Christian, Sr.
Pauline was a hairdresser and owned and operated three beauty shops in 27 years. She joined several different churches and was very active in their music ministries.
Pauline married Bobby Lee Peck on October 15, 1971 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one son, Darrell V. Hedges in 1975, her sister, Genieva A. Morlan in 2002 and her brother, William M. Christian, Jr.
Survivors include one son, Martin Craig (Marsha) Hedges of Blue Springs, Missouri, two grandchildren, Mikka N. (Shane) Hedges Funk, Melinda Ruth Hedges, two great-grandchildren, Bethanee Funk, Craig Funk and her brother, Truman Willard Christian of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
Cremation has taken place and private family inurnment will take place in Lane Cemetery, Lane, Kansas at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
