Evelyn Richardson

Evelyn Nadine Richardson, 91, of Topeka passed away Jan. 15, 2013 at Plaza West Regional Center. She spent her early years around Eskridge and Auburn, KS and moved to Topeka in 1942. She was employed by Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Medical Center as a dietician before her retirement.

Evelyn married Samuel Richardson on May 5, 1946 at Topeka. He preceded her in death in 2000. She and her husband liked to go fishing, enjoyed the outdoors, and gardening.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, David; her daughter, Linda; her grandson, Michael Chenoweth; and her brother, Billy Kahle.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Julie Chenoweth; her sister, Donna Butts; niece, Diane Wiechen, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church, 2627 SW Western, Topeka, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 3-5PM on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
