Ezell B. "EZ" Monts, Jr., 69, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. He was born May 20, 1951 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Alice Lorene (Talley) Monts, and Ezell B. Monts, Sr.
Ezell is survived by one son, Andrew Taylor Monts; four siblings, Felicia Lorene Landon, Byron Lennard Monts, William Michael Monts, and Susanne Valerie Robinson; by one sister-in-law, Charlene D. Monts; by various nieces and nephews, and by many, many wonderful friends.
EZ retired as a Senior Special Agent of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation in 2012.
EZ gave the gift of life and furthered education by donating his organs/tissues to Midwest Organ Transplant. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
