Felicia H. Sadowski, 96, of Topeka, formerly of Chicago, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at a Topeka hospital.
She was born May 21, 1915 in Chicago, the daughter of John and Michalena Libner Sadowski. She was an LPN in the greater Chicago area.
Survivors include her sister, Genevieve Rowley and her nieces, Sarita J. (John) Batson of Topeka, Barbara Vierra of Chicago and nephew, James Rookus of Hudsonville, MI, great-nieces, Debra Surprise, Veronica Culberson, Holly Swim and great-nephews, Vincent Vierra, Michael Vierra, Jeff Rookus, Scott Rookus, Chris Rookus and Todd Rookus and many great-great nieces and nephews. She left a legacy of loving her Lord and her family.
Services will be held at Noon Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will take place in Elmwood Park Cemetery, Elmwood Park, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be given to the Shawnee Heights Church, 4335 SE 29th St., Topeka, KS 66605.
