Fernando Alejandro Alvarez

Fernando Alejandro Alvarez, 26, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born March 4, 1998 in Topeka, the son of Michael Allen Deere Jaimez and Veronica Alvarez. 

Fernando attended Topeka West High School. He was employed by several distribution centers. Fernando was a hard worker and enjoyed staying productive. He enjoyed spending time with his children.

Survivors include his children, Ixan Siel Alvarez, Velenia Athiana Alvarez, Iliano Lejandro Alvarez, Aleena Marie Alvarez and Elera Saldana Alvarez, his mother, Veronica Torres of Topeka, and his siblings, Michael Allen Deere Jamiez Jr., Stacey Jaimez, Samantha Jaimez, Monikah Noami Torres, and Daniel Torres Jr., and his paternal grandmother, Alice Galindo.

Fernando was preceded in death by his father, Michael Allen Deere Jaimez and his maternal grandmother, Elvira Saldana Ruiz.

A Celebration of Fernando's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
