Flora Schreiber

Jane Brewer Schreiber, 86, Topeka, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at Midland Hospice House.

Jane was born Feb. 14, 1921, at Belvue, KS, the daughter of Guy C. and Lavina Weeks Brewer.

She attended Topeka schools and graduated from Seaman High School and Strickler's Business College. She retired in 1985 after 33 years of service with Goodyear.

Jane married Harold A. Schreiber on March 21, 1944 in Kansas City, KS. He died Jan. 5, 1993.

Survivors include her son, Harold A. Schreiber, Jr. and wife Diane of Olathe; a step grandson, Kenny Burke, a step great granddaughter, Mia Burke; a sister, Ruby Brewer Stinchfield, Phillips, MA, and a brother, Guy William Brewer of Austin, TX.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Ste. 105, Danvers, MA 01923; Brewster Place Foundation or Midland Hospice, Topeka.
