Frances Jean "Fran" (Stolte) Sibley, 70, of Topeka, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016.
She was born February 23, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Welton and Bernice (Kammer) Stolte. She was a 1964 graduate of Hayden High School.
Fran was employed by Blakely Crop Hail and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed helping her sister Teresa in her bakery.
Fran married Ray Sibley in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Survivors include son, Lance (Lindsey) Sibley; daughter, Debra (Terry) Taylor; sister, Teresa (Jerry) Covert; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 NE Freeman, Topeka, Kansas 66616. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Friday, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
