Frances V. Berry

Frances V. Berry, 86, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday 22, 2006 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1919 in Bartlesville, OK. She was raised in Topeka and returned 25 years ago. She was a member of Highland Heights Christian Church and the Sunshine Club at Mission Towers. She married Don C. Berry on July 16, 1938 in Topeka. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Gant. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Jean Creager and her husband, Bob of Carbondale and one granddaughter, Brittany Jean Downs. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Frances will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
