Francis D. Pierson, 77, of Holton, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at a Topeka hospital. He was born March 20, 1943 in Valley Falls, Kansas, the son of Raymond and Rowena (Shultz) Pierson.
Francis graduated from Denison High School. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. Francis was employed by Midwest Conveyor. He was a member of Lakeside Chapel.
Francis married Virgiline Cooper. She preceded him in death in August, 2008. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth and Alice and one brother, Walt.
Survivors include children, Renee (Scott) Beguelin of Berryton, two step-sons, Michael (Becky) Shupe of Wichita, Shawn Michaels of California, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and his siblings, Jean, Robert, Terry and Dana.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Francis's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Holton Senior Center, 312 Pennsylvania Ave., # B, Holton, Kansas 66436.
