Franklin Gallaway Jr.
Franklin "Jay"Gallaway Jr., 52, of Topeka, passed away July 4, 2011 at his home. He was born December 12, 1958 to Franklin and Ruth (Horner) Gallaway in Topeka, Kansas. He attended Topeka High School. He worked for Laird Noller Ford for 20 years, and Legacy Motors the past 6 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Cora Ann. He is survived by his three children, 2 sons, Christopher and his wife Jaime, and Travis, both of Burlingame, KS, and his daughter,Melissa Rimel and her husband Justin of Topeka, KS; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Ruth of Topeka; 3 sisters, Bonnie, Mary Kay and Ethel; 2 brothers, LeRoy and George; and his partner, Candy Phifer. He also leaves his canine companions, Sasha and Tica.
A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Cremation will follow.
