Franklyn Howard Houdek

Franklyn "Frank" Howard Houdek, 80, Topeka, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013. He was born on January 25, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Howard and Justina Houdek.
Frank received his bachelors of arts in 1951 and bachelors of education in 1956 from Washburn University. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a high school teacher in Silver Lake and later a case worker for the State of Kansas.
Frank was preceded in death by his partner of 48 years, Hie Harvey, who passed away on April 13, 2009 and a sister, Jessie Strnad in 1988.
Graveside inurnment will be at 1 pm, Thursday, February 7 at Mount Hope Cemetery.
