Fred Lee Rookstool, 69, of Topeka, took his final ride on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born March 23, 1951 in Arnold, Nebraska, the son of Oral and Sara (Rimpley) Rookstool.
Fred was an individual contractor for several companies, in addition to working for Browning Tree Service.
Fred loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Most days you could find him at "The Old Farts Club" aka Denny's on Topeka Blvd where he was the "King of the claw machine." He loved giving out the stuffed animals he won to kids.
Survivors include his life partner, Phyllis Miller; daughter, Samantha (Charles) Wilson; a butt load of Rookstool kin folk; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Fred is preceded in death by both of his parents and a great granddaughter, Ariya Robinson.
Cremation has taken place and as per Fred's wishes, no memorial services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and sent in care of Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave.
