Gail Pattison, 53, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at a local hospital.
Gail was born July 2, 1956 in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Patrick and Joan (Richards) Pattison. She graduated from John Jay High School in 1974 and from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio in 1977.
She served in the Peace Corps for 2 years following graduation, before being employed by the Internal Revenue Service for the past 28 years.
She was a devoted wife and mother.
Gail married Dennis Wade on June 27, 2008 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Taylor, Tim and Katie, all of the home; and sister, Joanie Teague, San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
