Doris Metzger writes - Today our loving daughter has decided to try her wings and fly away home. Home to her heavenly Father who is waiting with open arms. Her work on earth is done, now she can rest and glorify in his presence.
Gail was a loving wife, mother, sister, and a daughter any mother would be proud of. She once told me "all she wanted was to be a mother". God in all wisdom gave her four little boys in 2 ½ years. They were happy years and then she became a grandmother, how happy she was, she had more little ones to lavish her love on. She made all their birthdays and holidays special. God and family were her life.
She and her husband Ollie lived life serving God and establishing a foundation for their sons to follow.
Gail's life is an example of living a life with God as the "Captain of the team". But, as in every game, you sometimes strike out. The game is over for Gail but the "Captain of the team" will reward her for a job well done.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed or how empty our hearts feel as we grieve for the loss of our angel.
