Gail Bakken Ross, 58, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
She was born October 17, 1961, in Ithaca, New York, the daughter of David Allen and Margaret Alene (Young) Bakken. She served in the U.S. Army from September 25, 1979 until being honorable discharged March 1, 1980.
Survivors include a her daughter, Amanda Michelle Rene; her son, Joshua Donald Ross of Virginia Beach, VA; her brother, Karl D. Bakken of Luray, VA; and her sisters, Karin Bakken and Wendy Bakken of Dripping Springs, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. No services are planned. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
